Ordering
How Do I Order?
It’s so easy, no worries! Click on the order button in the top right corner, then fill out our order form. We’ll email you back within a few hours to confirm your order, set-up a pick-up time, and send you a payment invoice. Pre-payment is required for all orders.
How Far In Advance Should I Order?
We ask for one week’s notice on all orders. However, we understand that pastry emergencies happen. Rush orders can be accommodated, depending on our schedule.
Where Will I Pick Up My Order?
Orders can be picked up at Waco Work (600 Columbus Ave., Waco TX) on most weekdays, or on Saturdays from 9AM-1PM at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market. When your order is confirmed, we’ll also confirm a time and place for your pick-up.
Can You Deliver My Order Instead?
Delivery is available on a case-by-case basis for an extra fee. Email us, if you’d like to confirm delivery options before ordering: Hello@VioletteBakery.com
Is There a Minimum Order?
Yes, indeed! Macarons and madeleines are ordered by the dozen, with a minimum one dozen per order. You can choose two different flavors of macarons for each dozen ordered, or order one of our curated variety boxes. Fruit galettes can be ordered by the half-dozen (mini sized) or single whole pies. Check out our menu for more details on flavors!

Of course! A complimentary 30 minute tasting is available for orders larger than 6 dozen. Choose up to 5 flavors to taste ahead of time.
Do You Offer Monogramming, Favor Bags, or other Custom Decorations for your Macarons?
Yes, for an extra fee. Include in your order any special decorative or packaging elements you’d like for your macarons and we’ll send you a quote.
Health & Ingredients
Are Macarons Gluten Free?
Yes! Macarons are made with Almond Flour, making them naturally gluten free. We also only use gluten free ingredients in our fillings.
Do You Offer Allergy-Friendly Options?
We are happy to help craft an allergy-friendly option of our macarons. All macaron flavors can be made dairy-free and dye-free, plus we’re working on an egg-free vegan macaron cookie for the future. However, Violette is not a nut-free, wheat-free, dairy-free kitchen. We use special tools and bowls for allergy-friendly orders, but for severe allergies, we recommend ordering from a completely allergen-free commercial bakery.
Do You Make Everything from Scratch?
Yes, indeed! Every pastry, pie, and cookie that comes from Violette Bakery has been made from scratch with high-quality ingredients. There are no mixes or shortcuts in our kitchen. We also only use free-range eggs, organic dairy products, and free trade chocolate.
What is a Cottage Bakery?
A cottage bakery is the legal term for a home-based bakery in the state of Texas. Cottage bakers are required to have a food handler’s license, but this food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department. Cottage bakeries are a very common way for small business owners to build a client base and menu, before undertaking the large investment of opening a commercial kitchen. More information on cottage bakeries can be found at the Texas Cottage Food Law website.
